Listen and Discover Psalm 34:1 – 5 Amplified Version
“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My life makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble and afflicted hear and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. I sought (inquired of) the Lord and required Him [of necessity and on the authority of His Word], and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” vs. 7-10 “The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe] and each of them He delivers. O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him. O fear the Lord, you His saints [revere and worship Him]! For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship Him with godly fear. The young lions lack food and suffer hunger, but they who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord [by right of their need and on the authority of His Word], none of them shall lack any beneficial thing.”
vs. 17-22 “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles. The Lord is close to those who are of a broken heart and saves such as are crushed with sorrow for sin and are humbly and thoroughly penitent. Many evils confront the [consistently] righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Evil shall cause the death of the wicked; and they who hate the just and righteous shall be held guilty and shall be condemned. The Lord redeems the lives of His servants, and none of those who take refuge and trust in Him shall be condemned or held guilty.”
If our hope – our trust – is in the Lord, then what are waiting for? Why do we allow the “what if’s” to defeat us before we give our “I’m going to trust in you, Lord” a chance to birth life! How long are we going to hold back? Must we continue to stand in a paralysis position watching as “faith led believers” fly by? Are we going to continue to have our unbelief hold us prisoner to a LIE?
“Trusting in the Lord” is not a cliché, it is and can be a LIFE walked out in the fear of the Lord. A life that does not lack perseverance, endurance, patience, a steadfast confidence in the truth of the promise God has spoken, released over its vitality.
Vitality – the peculiarity distinguishing the living from the nonliving. The capacity to live and develop. The physical or mental vigor when it’s highly developed. The power of enduring producing a lively and animated character.
Believe – to have faith; to have grounded hope in God, Jesus Christ. To trust in the unwavering, unsaturated truth of faith. To walk in steadfast confidence.
Unbelief – to have no expectation of a favorable outcome.

Jeremiah 17:7 – 8 [Most] blessed is the man who believes in, trusts in, and relies on the Lord, and whose hope and confidence the Lord is. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters that spreads out its roots by the river; and it shall not see and fear when heat comes; but its leaf shall be green. It shall not be anxious and full of care in the year of drought, nor shall it cease yielding fruit.
My Voice Cries Out! “Oh, my Father who is majestic in power and in might. Who holds my world in the palm of his hand. Who has my heart beating next to his rhythm of love. You know my steps, my days ahead. You know my needs and desires for you have created all in existence of time. You, who are my Father, know what is best for me. Hear my cry even now as I rest at your feet. Know that I want your will for my life.
For all the situations that lay before me now and those I can not see but you have in control. I will choose to walk in faith and trust all within your hands. I will choose to lay rest my anxiety and let go. I will choose to listen to your heart beat as you go forth and prepare the way.
Father, it is only through you that I can believe, I can trust, I can hope. I will dare to believe that all my fears are just a lie that has kept me from moving forward in what you have predestined for me. I will dare to believe that you are my confidence, my countenance as I go forth through out my day. I will dare to believe that I am a Daughter of the King and have the authority to call into existence that which I can not see but that which is to be. I will dare to believe! I will dare to believe!
Your daughter who trusts in you for all things. With everything I will shout forth your praise! With everything I will show forth your glory!”
