Ask, Seek, and Knock ~ a formula that produces fruitfulness

There are times in our lives where we are halted by circumstance.  A circumstance that was caused by our own fears, emotions, guilt, or neglect. Better yet, sometimes by the hand of our own manipulation, control, or deceit.

No matter what brings us to our stopping point of inner reflection we find that we can not change (or grow) on our own. We need to reverently keep asking, seeking, and knocking on the heart door of our Father in order for change within to manifest.

 Matthew 7:7 – 8 AMP Bible

Keep on asking and it will be given to you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking (reverently) and (the door) will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, (the door) will be opened.”

For to give up while the race is still before us is to give up on God’s word for our lives and the placement of our journey thus far. We must continue to terry, to forge ahead, and die to ourselves in order that our spirit can become stronger than our flesh and that our minds become in alignment with the mind of Christ.

We must continue to try, even if we fail and get back up – we must try again. This is the process of learning; of growing; of changing; of becoming fruitful.

We must keep asking, seeking, and knocking on the heart door of the Father.  For Him to show us how we need to change and what we need to do to grow. Each time of action is a step closer to the destiny He has designed for us. Each step takes us closer to where He has called us to be. We must push every hindrance aside and force our steps forward towards the mark that glorifies His name.

As women we must come to a place where our complacent ways of being become irritated to the core causing us – catapulting us – into a new area of activation and creativity. This is how we stay young, vibrant, alive, and everyone including ourselves enjoys being around us. We should not get into the routine of our daily lives and stay closed minded. We must continue to broaden ourselves by interaction, activation, and creation. By doing so, we are reproducing the gifts and talents within us and changing lives at our fingertips.

We become fruitful and productive in the areas He has given us responsibility. Our relationship with Him, our health, our home, our marriage, our children, our career, and our relationship with others will be impacted as we embrace the formula of the spirit:

 Ask + Seek + Knock    =

Growth, Change, and Freedom

Looks like this piece was in the oven for just the right amount of time. Nicely done and golden brown. Thanks for sharing, I agree with every point. Cheers, Don

Thank you so much for sharing. As a speaker and coach for Christian women entrepreneurs, this is exactly the type of thinking I help my audiences and clients embrace.

  3. Jennifer,
Loved the post. So often we forget how God can easily hijack our direction and lead to somewhere we hadn’t planned and yet may be totally necessary for our ultimate goal. Change is always difficult and yet that is what makes the mundane caterpillar the beautiful butterfly.
