God has a plan it requires obedience and development

Don’t doubt yourself when it comes to something you know you are called to do whether it be to improve your health, mind, or spirit – or what you are called to do for your life. Others will try to make fun or belittle what you are doing just so the enemy can have a foothold to make you ‘feel’ rejected, lose strength, or your confidence in yourself and God. All these are tools of the enemy to get you to stop doing something that is designed for you to do. He uses others and ourselves to create that obstacle.

It is up to us to use discernment, separate the truth from the lie, and to believe not only in ourselves but in the thoughts and plans God has for us. What you think about yourself is much more important than what others think of you!

It is our responsibility to remind ourselves of the prophetic words spoken over our lives. With that responsibility comes a higher accountability – being obedient in all things that God has asked of us whether big or small. Each act of obedience is a stepping stone towards the thoughts and plans He has designed for our lives.  Disobedience takes us in the opposite direction.

This reigns true also in our gifts and talents. We must discover them, finding what we are truly capable of doing by daily developing them in order that our full potential will come into fruition.

Prophecy is not some mystical magical wand ~ PUFF! The rabbit comes out of the hat type of experience. Prophecy is given to encourage, affirm, confirm, and bring correction all inline with the Word of God.  Prophetic words will come to pass by two things – (1) daily obedience to God’s will in all that we do; walking with Him and (2) daily developing the tools that He has entrusted us with. When we have done these two vital things and have made it become a lifestyle habit of obedience and development then we will begin to see His plan unfold for our lives.

For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. Then you will call upon Me, and I will hear and heed you. Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me (as a vital necessity) and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will release you from captivity . . .”                                  ~ Jeremiah 29:11 – 14 AMP version

This is where I’m at right now in my life… prophetic words always launch us into “process” where the perfection of our faith takes place –

Great Post! Very timely & encouraging!

    Well said!

  3. Thank you so much for this, Jenn. You have no idea how much I needed that. I was brought (once again) to my place of destiny, finally to embrace it, when I experienced a serious blacklash of criticism from those around me. It took intercession of my godmother, and the power of our Father to bring me through it and bring me back into focus. I am so grateful to be in the place of purpose and this post was a real strengthener and confirmation for me. Love you!!
