Life’s Canvas . . . .

“Life begins with an empty blank canvas. Splashes of color begin to appear upon each step taken, each relationship built, each positive or negative moment, and upon each achievement or failure.

Moments that were dark, serve a purpose of building character and will always be overshadowed by the moments we walked victoriously. Eventually, as the journey ends the canvas will tell our story portraying a picture of great beauty and value. Be encouraged to indulge in a variety of colors so that your final masterpiece is one that will make a positive difference to those who follow.”

A beautiful thought Jennifer! Sometimes I wonder what I’ll look like as a completed work when I step into eternity, but when that happens I imagine I’ll be so excited about being there that I won’t think to look in a mirror.

Well said, Jennifer! I love the image of the blank canvas and how we can color it as we make our choices in life. Thanks for sharing!

I love that concept. It reminds me of a poem I treasure called Tapestry. We see the underside with the dark threads intermingled, but God sees the upper side, the finished work in the pattern He planned.
