To get to where you want to be in 2013 ~ Start by knowing where you are now!
Begin by knowing where you are in these areas of your life:
Where are you?Spiritually ~ Emotionally ~ Relationally ~ Physically ~
If you can answer these then you are ready to begin 2013 with a fresh perspective, a clear mind if you will. A steadfastness is your footing in the place of ‘living’ for today. Seize your day with moments of God’s love and grace as you reach out to others and enjoy the moments-by-moments of today. Live in freedom and teach others how to walk in their own.
If you cannot answer these reflective questions take some time before you launch into something new. Make sure you know your destination or at least the vicinity of where you are going.
“A man without a vision will perish . . .” Proverbs 29:18
Keep in mind that God knows all that He has planned for your life. He knows your successes and your failures even before your feet hit the floor each morning. Consulting Him, continually, not only when in a crisis, brings about the trust factor so many desire, but do not know how to achieve. Peace comes in the trusting, knowing that no matter the circumstance He is right there with an answer. All we have to do is listen. Jeremiah 29:11, Psalm 139:16, Romans 8:35
I challenge you today, to do two things that you have not ever done before or have not done in a long time that symbolize life and freedom. Something that you are fearful of or something that keeps you back from who you are called to be.
1 – Answer those questions – you’ll begin to understand yourself a bit better.
2 – Do something that is liberating but not illegal or harming to you or anyone else (smile)
They do not have to be complicated actions. It could be speaking life over your physical body if you are in need of healing. It could be taking a 15-minute walk that you have kept telling yourself to do. It could praying for your spouse and their direction in life. It could be saying, “I Love You” without a thought of receiving anything in return. It could be that phone call to your friend that you haven’t spoken to in years. It could be forgiving yourself or someone else for something that has held you in bondage, way too long.
Whatever it is . . . JUST DO IT!
LIVE TODAY and . . .
Keep smilin’ ~ Jenn
