Monday Blues ~ LIVE TODAY ~ 2013 ~ Day 8/365, Week 1/52


So, yep looks like we are here again . . . our good ‘ole friend is back and this is only the 1st of 50 or so visits we have.

It’s MONDAY! Oops, did I say a curse word for some of you?  Sorry . . . but I think it is all in how you look at it . . . smile

And now breathe . . . .

So, what if it’s Monday.  It’s going to be Monday in another 7 days and what the heck are you going to do about it?

Yep, she’s here to stay for the next 24 hours and well as I see it you have two choices to start-up the hate/love affair.

1 – Embrace your Monday and make it well worth the time you’ve put into getting out of bed.

OR

2 – Crawl back under the covers and be a day behind in your life, in your dreams, in your bills, etc. – you get the picture.

First, let me ask you something – How did you begin your day?  or How about how did you end your night?

Was it peaceful?  Did you sleep the full 8 hours your body needs to enjoy the ‘want to’ to get out of bed?  Or did you go to bed with anger, frustration, or defeat?

No matter, there is always one solution to all that mess!  You know it, I got it!  So, I am going to give it to you straight.  (smile)

Prayer anyone?  Did you begin with it?  If you did you have conquered the day even before it got going.  If you didn’t well, baby,  it ain’t too late to start.

It is better than coffee, a cold shower, or whatever else you need to get a pick me up in the morning.  Don’t get me wrong though – I am a girl of many sources – I pray while I drink my hot cup of hard black brew.

I encourage you to sow into your day – what you want to reap for your day.  It’s not a myth – that law of sowing and reaping – and as a good ‘ole Pastor friend of mine said yesterday in church – sowing and reaping isn’t all about money.

You want life, energy, happiness on a Monday – well for goodness sake – sow some prayer, prayer, and more prayer.  BUT!! Then of course don’t forget, sow some strong Columbian brew, a nice brisk walk,  get your full 8 ounces of water in, and some good healthy eats.

I guarantee you will not have any more bad sad Mondays.
