“Forgiveness is a daily process that is guaranteed to bring about much-needed healing. Achievement of its guarantee is heavily dependent upon each love step that is taken towards dying to selfishness, offense, bitterness, resentment, hate, and anger (just to name a few) ~ We must die to ourselves in order that Christ might live through us.”

I have learned and continue to learn in my everyday living battle that forgiveness is a key element to true happiness and living a healthy lifestyle. It is not something that should be taken lightly or overlooked. Neither should another person judge another who walks in un-forgivness. For in doing so, we make ourselves a prime target to be judged.
Walking in love begins the healing process. Each day you are confronted with the issue or person that needs forgiveness remember to breathe, let go, and change your thoughts towards that situation as soon as possible. If we allow our minds to dwell upon a wrong done to us we allow it to control our lives, our minds, our spirits . . . Yes, even our physical bodies.
Walking in forgiveness – constantly, when we do not ‘feel’ like it – opens up our bodies to detox from the poison we have fed it – bitterness, resentment, hate, judgment, etc.
If you want to live in freedom, have your mind free from hurt and pain, and your body healthy immediately respond with forgiveness. This does not mean that you will immediately trust the other person or yourself but it is a movement towards living in love and peace.
Most importantly, remember you are not responsible for another’s actions, choices, or words. You are only responsible for your response to them. If you respond correctly you will not have to deal with the consequences later that will affect your mind, body, and spirit.
Chose today to walk in forgiveness and watch how your view of yourself and others will begin to change.
Choose to live today by forgiving yesterday . . .
LIVE TODAY! and . . .
Keep smilin’ ~ Jenn
