Each of us is intricately woven by the Creator. He did not dismiss one detail during the creation process. He filled our lives, our bodies, and our souls with a variety of colors! How beautiful do you think you are?
How great is His love for you! That He would take the time and pick out colors to embrace your sculpted being breathing you into a created purposed life! God’s perspective of us is far greater than what we would ever imagine. However, many of us allow the circumstances of life to change that view. How do you see yourself?
For some it takes years of wandering for them to grasp a hold of true freedom. Then there are some who never dig deep enough to deal with shame issues, self-esteem issues, fear, hate, etc. There are those living a life of regret not ever experiencing the truth of God’s perspective of who they are. In all honesty, they are not – living – they are dying inside to a solemn tune that will become their mask and burden to bare.
We take our guilt, our shame, and our pain and use it to mar the beautiful sculptured masterpiece God has created. We change His view to match ours so that we can be comfortable with how we ‘feel’ about ourselves. We have a hard time believing that we can be and are beautiful creatures. It is much easier for us to think that someone else’s outer beauty is more than our own.
We live in a world that contains three perspectives:
God’s, our self, and that of other people.
We go in and out of our days never considering the other two because we are so wrapped up in our own distorting version of who we are and how we must appear to others and to God.
I urge you to contemplate on how God sees you . . . His Creation.
